I’m delighted to have been selected for the Salon des Refusés of the 2026 Lethbridge Small Scale Art Award.

The Lethbridge Small-Scale Art Award is open to national and international artists and is dedicated specifically to small-scale artworks, with entries limited to works no larger than 61 cm in any dimension, across both 2D and 3D media.

The finalists exhibition runs from 7 - 25 August 2026.

Painting from an elevated deck looking into the rainforest -shifting light dances through dense foliage, dissolving form. As the illumination alters, I abandon strict representation to capture the environment's living energy.

Reminded of childhood myths of enchanted forests, the marks translate into visceral connection to place rather than physical reality.
